Welcome to Llanharan Community Council. We serve the communities of Llanharan, Brynna, Brynnau Gwynion, Bryncae, Llanilid and Ynysmaerdy. The Community Council was formed in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972 as the successor to the former Parish Councils.

Llanharan Community Council would like to thank Mr Bob James and Excel Power Construction Ltd for their generous donation of two new 5-a-side goalposts for the playground in Brynnau Gwynion (Mountain Hare). A great addition to promote healthy outdoor activity in our local area.
