Welcome to Llanharan Community Council. We serve the communities of Llanharan, Brynna, Brynnau Gwynion, Bryncae, Llanilid and Ynysmaerdy. The Community Council was formed in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972 as the successor to the former Parish Councils.

Llanharan Community Council
Llanharan Community Council serves the communities of Bryncae,Brynna,Llanharan,Llanilid &Ynysmaerdy
Llanharan Community Council invites community groups and organisations within the area to apply for Community Council general grants. This is the first of two grant rounds of the municipal year. The deadline for applications is 30th June 2026 and applications will be considered during the month of July.
Applicants will need to be prepared to submit financial records in order to demonstrate need and must comply with the council’s grant policy which is available upon request and as part of the application pack. You must ensure you are eligible and must provide all information requested for your grant to be considered. All information is contained in the grant pack.
