Welcome to Llanharan Community Council. We serve the communities of Llanharan, Brynna, Brynna Gwynnion, Bryncae, Llanilid and Ynysmaerdy. The formation of the Community Council was in 1974, under the Local Government Act 1972 as the sucessor to the former old Parish Councils.

Llanharan Community Council invites community groups
and organisations within the area to apply for Community Council general grants. This is the second grant round of the municipal year. The deadline for applications is 6th January 2025 and applications will be considered during the month of January.
Applicants will need to be prepared to submit financial records in order to demonstrate need and must comply with the council’s grant policy which is available upon request and as part of the application pack. You must ensure you are eligible and must provide all information requested for your grant to be considered. All information is contained in the grant pack.
